Dear reader, do not be surprised, as some of the most famous Islamic historical texts contain these stories, and many ancient religious storytellers recounted them, and people believed and passed them on. Some called them “fables,” others “fabricated lies,” and some referred to them as ” اسرائیلیات” (Israeli tales). Nevertheless, the existence of these stories indicates that Muslims, like the ancient Greeks, Egyptians, and people of ancient Iraq and the Levant, also had their own myths and legends.
