“People were once a single community. Then Allah sent forth the prophets as messengers of good tidings and warnings.” (Al-Baqarah: 213) Thus, humanity began as a single community, filled with ignorance, materialism, disbelief, and worship of fleeting pleasures. They believed only in what was within the scope of their senses; their thoughts were confined to the realm of physical desires. Later, books and messengers were sent down, causing people to become divided into those who believed and those who disbelieved, those who were believers and those who were non-believers. They divided into various sects and groups. This is how history tells us about the people from Adam to Noah, from Abraham to Isaac, from Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad, the last of the prophets, peace be upon them all.“Indeed, Allah and His angels pray for the Prophet. O those who have believed, pray for him and offer him blessings with sincerity.” (Al-Ahzab: 56) May Allah bless you, O Muhammad! May mercy be upon you forever.
