Israel acts as if it is dealing with nothingness, expanding its territory as if it is playing in a vacuum. This collective absence of Arab countries will have serious consequences. The Arab statements, which come from individual, scattered sources, will not be as effective as when they come from a collective platform. A concentrated Arab presence and a unified voice are much more powerful than individual statements and collective actions. This means that it is no longer possible to deal with Arab countries individually, or to consider them as separate entities. The Arabs have already given up much, and there is nothing left for them to give up further—not their identity, nor their positions in the world.
