Geography serves as a starting point for studying Egypt in such an analytical manner, which is something we are not used to. Most studies of Egypt are either historical, political, or economic in nature. However, discussions about geography often focus solely on geographical information, ignoring the real-life aspects of Egypt’s history. Egypt’s geographical location has caused many problems over time, especially during periods of prolonged occupation. Therefore, Hamdan’s approach was different from previous ones. He considered the location to be a “genius,” and thus named his book “The Genius of the Location.”
