“Some young men have succeeded in transforming the branches of the Islamic teachings into roots, and have turned the fundamental principles into mere leaves that fall away with the wind. It is a honor for Islam to build one’s character on the principle that ‘He who improves what is weak will succeed, while he who weakens what is strong will fail.’ Islam also links the responsibility of governing the land with the principles of ‘Those whom we have enabled to live in the land will practice prayer, give zakat, promote good deeds, and avoid evil.” I urge those who lead religious communities to reflect on two important matters: first, to engage more deeply in the study of the verses of the Quran; second, to strengthen the connections between the noble traditions of the Hadith and the teachings of the Quran, both near and far. Only by combining these two aspects can a complete and meaningful Islamic study be achieved. Arrogance in the face of knowledge is a sin. What about arrogance in the face of incompetence and shortcomings? This book is the result of many experiences in the field of religious guidance. I hope it will help to guide those who are committed to their mission, and to support those who work hard for the sake of Islam.
