A group of horses were running in a beautiful rhythm, in unison. The sound of their hooves on the ground echoed together with the beating of their hearts. Their hooves were arranged in neat rows, and they were racing against each other. Their speed became faster and faster, as if they were one continuous line. The rain gradually became lighter, until it became a delicate mist that covered the sky. The arc of rain illuminated the horizon from afar. One of the horses stopped, and its companions followed suit with clear, resonant sounds. Then they chased after them, until they finally reached a large, green field. If I were a horse, I would be terrified of them. And if I were a human, I would also be terrified of them. Those sounds that echoed when their hearts calmed down weren’t the sounds of horses at all… they were the sounds of humans!
